Local methamphetamine enthusiast Randy Perkins was discovered by police after accidentally documenting a rare lesser nighthawk while attempting to defrost stolen frozen shrimp in a seafood restaurant's walk-in freezer. Authorities noted this might be the first wildlife discovery made during an unsuccessful break-in.
